THE CITY OF EMOTIONS

Dynamic and active, Valencia is a city to discover all year round. If you like sport, you can’t miss the European Formula 1 Grand Prix in June or the Moto GP in November. If you like music, nothing compares to the July Fair or the upcoming Festival Internacional de Benicássim (FIB). The Tomatina, which takes place in August, is another event not to be missed. If, on the other hand, you’re looking to relax, there are several kilometres of beach and the whole city to enjoy.

EVERYTHING HAPPENS IN VALENCIA

The city’s streets are getting ready to receive the Formula One cars that will race on the street circuit designed for the European Grand Prix. The event is to be held between 25th and 27th June and very close to the sea! If you are the type of person that likes to fully immerse yourself in the cities you visit, do not miss the July Fair, with concerts for all ages, Valencian traditions and amazing firework shows at all hours. Its climax is the Battle of Flowers, to be held on the last Sunday of July. Furthermore, if you want to try the best Valencian cuisine at very good prices, the city organizes its Valencia Restaurant Week.

KILOMETRES OF BEACH

Valencia has seven kilometres of beach in which to lose yourself. Urban beaches, which you can reach by underground, bicycle or tram before letting yourself drop in the sand, taking a stroll alone the seafront, trying our famous paella or going for an evening drink in one of the seafront bars. And there are also wild beaches, such as El Saler, located in a Natural Park in which pine trees, the sea and the sand mix in a perfect combination.

BRING THE FAMILY

There are thousands of ideas for family outings in Valencia.
