We suggest places for parents and children to enjoy family tourism together.
Enjoy the audiovisual shows at the Hemisfèric. Take a trip through science in the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum. Pay a visit to Europe’s biggest aquarium, the Oceanogràfic, where children can experience a night of adventure… sleeping with the sharks!
The city’s green ´lung´. Hire out a bicycle or hop aboard one of the train’s three carriages. A trip to the rhythm of the choo-choo-choo! As if that’s not enough, don’t miss the “Un riu de festa” programme workshops, and Gulliver's park, with its ramps and slides.
This park extends out from the Turia Gardens, with various play areas to delight the youngest visitors. Boat trips on the lake, games on the lawn, a short bicycle ride or a visit to the Bioparc (an absolute must for the younger crowd) – it’s fun for all the family!
The Albufera Nature Park, one of Valencia’s most iconic and fascinating natural areas, is just 10 km away from the main city. Take a trip, enjoy Valencian cuisine at its purest, or take a boat trip on its waters at sunset.
Children can have fun in the play area, drive a go-kart or bounce around on the inflatables in the Parque de tráfico. Another equally entertaining option is a visit to the Museum of Natural Sciences, where Palaeontology and Malacology collections are on display.
Get to know the city aboard the open-topped bus, or in a horse-drawn carriage. Rent a bicycle, try out a tandem or let entertaining guides show you round as you take part in countless stories.
The Las Arenas and Malvarrosa beaches are just a few minutes from the city centre. Alongside the beaches lies the Paseo Maritimo, ideal for taking a stroll, jogging or roller-skating. On the beaches you’ll find lots of activities to enjoy after taking a dip, building a sandcastle or relaxing in the sun.
