Valencia has a city and suburban bus network that reaches every corner of the city. Bus services start at 4 am on some of the lines, and end at 10.30 pm. Then follows the night bus service, which ends at 2 am, except for on Fridays, Saturdays and the nights before public holidays, when it continues until 3:30 am. As well as regular day and night services, in summer and at other specific times such as during the European Grand Prix of F1 or major festivals, additional special bus services are put on. Services to the suburbs are provided by a consortium of transport companies grouped together under the name of Metrobús. These services link the city with surrounding towns and villages. More info: - EMT (Empresa Municipal de Transportes de Valencia) www.emtvalencia.es - BUS STATION Menéndez Pidal, 13 46009 Valencia Tel. +34 963 466 266 TO THE ALBUFERA NATURE PARK BY BUS (HERCA AND BUS TURISTIC) HERCA BUS If you would like to visit the Albufera Nature Park, the best way is to use the HERCA regular bus service. From Valencia, the first bus leaves Av. Germanías 34 (on the corner with C/ Sueca), 5 minutes away from the Estación del Norte (the train station). You can also catch the bus from the stops on Plaza de Cánovas (Marqués del Turia) and at the Oceanogràfic. The stop for Albufera is the "Embarcadero del Palmar”. To return to Valencia, you can catch the same bus in the same place where you got off. Another way of enjoying a trip to the Albufera Nature Park is with the Albufera Bus Turístic. This bus service will give you a complete tour of the Albufera Nature Park, where you will discover the rice field ecosystems. The tour also includes a boat trip. SEE STOPS AND TIMETABLES BUS TURISTIC See the city in comfort from your vantage point on an open-top double decker bus, while you are given detailed explanations, available in several languages. There are three different routes on offer: Historical Valencia, Maritime Valencia and the trip to La Albufera.
