Valencia’s cultural heritage, illustrious history and pleasant Mediterranean climate offer the perfect backdrop for learning and practicing Spanish, a language spoken by more than four-hundred million people across the planet.
Where To Study
There are centres that offer specialised classes, practical training and cultural activities; in addition, they can help students with finding housing. The Association of Spanish Schools in the Valencian Region (AMEELE) brings together Spanish schools in the city of Valencia which are accredited by the Instituto Cervantes.

The majority of schools provide their own diplomas at the end of the course, but if you want an official, internationally-recognised diploma, the best thing is to sit one of the DELE diplomas (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language) exams, awarded by the Instituto Cervantes. The language schools themselves often offer preparatory classes for the exam.
