33rd America´s Cup





Valencia is blessed with special natural characteristics, with the local climatology and orography making the Gulf of Valencia an excellent course for regattas. Thanks to these conditions, the city became the first European city to host the America’s Cup in the event’s 150+ year history.
 
2010 will see Valencia once more hosting the America’s Cup.
 
The competition
The America’s Cup is a challenge between two boats in which there is only one winner. During this edition, the participating vessels will be multihulls.

The Juan Carlos I Royal Marina will once more become the operational base for the competing teams and the meeting place for those wishing to experience the atmosphere of this unique nautical event.
